Rodrick Miller is the founder of AMP Athletics Institute located in Sarasota, Florida. Rod is a true veteran to the sports performance training industry, having over 20 years experience. He began as an intern in Tallahassee while attending Florida A & M University. He got the opportunity to learn from one of the country's best, Dave Plettl, president of Titus Sports Academy and currently the head strength coach for women's basketball at Florida State University. Rod identified the need for elite strength & conditioning training back home so he decided to open up his business. Rod has had the great opportunity of helping to develop some of our area's best athletes in various sports such as football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, track & field, ice skating, cheerleading, and motocross. His diverse experience and individualized approach to his methods has made him highly sought-after for many - ranging from younger kids in their developmental stages to collegiate & professional athletes. In addition to AMP Institute, Rod is the founder of AMP Track Club, an AAU track & field team that has produced over 25 nationally ranked student-athletes.
